Personal

The blog is back!

Long, long time ago there was a blog called “typo3bloke”. It had a lot of articles about TYPO3, TYPO3 extension development and other related topics. The blog was hosted on the Google Blogger platform.

Time went on, and it became quite difficult to manage the blog and clean comments from spam. Also, I focused on commercial projects and started to write less and less in the blog. So at some point I decided that it was not worth continuing there and closed that old blog.

Now times are changing. There are a lot of new developments, and I have far more experience. I had a lot of interesting things that I know and I want to share. So I decided to recreate my blog right now as a stand-alone, TYPO3-based installation, which uses the most recent technologies and includes some AI features.

The blog is completely designed in Claude Code, and it was built with the help of Claude Code. I supervised everything, and in many cases I told Claude Code how to do things because it went in the wrong directions. AI is great and powerful, but sometimes it also can make wrong decisions.

I plan to write here about TYPO3, AI, and some of my own personal stuff like travels, photography, music.

The blog does not use any cookies. It doesn't have any tracking. It doesn't have any statistics, and it does not have comments. If you have anything to say to me, you can always use the link at the bottom to contact me.

P.S. About comments on the old blog

There was one moment on the old blog that surprised me. There were some comments that were kind of on a topic, but there was a phrase at the end that I could not understand. I kept them until somebody contacted me and said that those comments are actually very rude because of their ending phrase. It seems like those comments were coming from one of the Asian countries, where it is possible to write English letters in their own language. I'm not sure why those people did it, but this was a really strange experience.

Why are there no comments on this blog? Here's why.
